I am trying to learn how to play the intro to this. AFter the G chord, how do you pull off the 4th fret D and then immediately play the open G string followed by 4th fret on G string. If someone could tell me what fingers to use for this it might be easier.

use your index finger for playing the second fret on the g string. Use your ring finger to pull off 4th fret on the d string and then again when fretting the 4th fret of the g string.

as far as how you play the open string after the 4th fret pulloff, that just comes with practice. Just use alt picking starting with down on the 0h2p0.

And No Quarter. I figured out how to play the keyboard part on guitar and get that cool vibrating sound with a wah.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

White Summer/Black Mountain Side is probably one of the most amazing solos I've seen. Highly suggest picking up the Zeppelin DVD

Black Mountain Side... the acoustic version off Zeppelin 1 is the song i like to play.. You gotta play it with pick and fingers... "White Summer/ Black Mountain" Side is wayyyy too difficult for me...

Heres a tab for Black Mountain Side--http://www.led-zeppelin.org/multimedia/ ... -1-6-g.php
