Been playing guitar for five years...

...and sadly enough, just learned my first real solo.

Sublime - What I Got

I have such a hard time playing solos. Any tips? Any good songs to learn with?

try the Hotel California Intro, its basically a solo and a good one to learn.
Going to: Acoustic Planet Tour- 8/14 Tulsa, OK

If you're into sublime, definitely try Santeria's solo. Get down speed and bending in that one.

i know it's just a tiny little lead, but i really like I'll back you up's. not super impressive, but very simple, & sounds very nice.

brooding like the blades of a fan on low speed
or a writer with only one good line.
