Basic blues rift help...

Anyone have the basic blues riff:

"bah dah dah dah dum".....

*I lost my job*

*and my girl*

mess around wit hpower chords and what not for E, A and G.

my rhythm i sslightly different, but i got what you're saying.

i go " bah daaah dah dum" (one less dah, but one of mine is longer.

so mine transcribes to E A(longer) G E

then repeat....  or just you know use the basic structure thing and variate, this is just a simple method.  hope it helps

haha i saw that too, its just a pet peave of mine, i dont know why but it bothers me

riff - guitar progression

rift - has to do with tectonic plates moving in the Earth's crust

i thought thats what he was talking about too, i was about to tab it out n such haha thanks for saving my time. i know its a common blues riff but the first blues song i learned was called "Hideaway" and its still a great rhythm for drunk singalongs n such haha.
