Layla (Acousic) Solo...

Unread post by GrateDMB21 » Thu Apr 28, 2005 11:42 am

I was wonderin' if anyone had a correct tab for this song. I've been listening to the recording alot and the tab I have seems to have a couple added notes in there which messes me up with the rhythm of the solo

The part is at 3:05 and the tab I used is from PowerTabs
http://www.powertabs.net/pta.php?page=song,3170

Any help would be greatly appreciated

the one given by kf2817 is perfect except for in the solo, in the third bar and the first half of the fourth, that part with the slides...

--------8--8---------8--8-----------|
-9/10-10-10-9/10-10-10-9/10----|
--------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------|

this part isnt shown an accurate number of times in the tab itself, so dont let that fool you

Code: Select all

------8--8-------8--8-------8-10-----------|-------------------10-10/12/10-|
-9/10-10-10-9/10-10-10-9/10----------------|-------------10-13-------------|
------------------------------------/---12-|-10----10-12-------------------|
----------------------------------12-------|----12-------------------------|
-------------------------------------------|-------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------|-------------------------------|
So right after the slide and the 8 n 10 on the high E theres that quick 12 bend then 12 again? Because that was the part that kept messing me up. I just couldnt hear on the UNPLUGGED cd. Besides that the rest of the solo seems fine to me. Thanks for everyones help!
