make sure you are using equal up and down strums, you are probably trying to do those hammer on's with all downstrokes. Watch the video of him playing on claypigeons.net

Code: Select all

F(strum) C(hammer-on like intro)
We might kiss
F C
when we are alone
F C G7
When nobody's watching, we might take it home
F C
We might make out
F C
when nobody's there
F C G7
It's not that we're scared, it's just that it's delicate

                F
So why do you fill my sorrow
           C
With the words you've borrowed
            F C
From the only place you've know
                 F
And why do you sing Hallelujah
       C
If it means nothing to you
             F G7
Why do you sing with me at all?

hope this helps, i should be covering it soon if you need an audio, but his version is pretty clear cut if you listen hard enough
