Try taking the Trace Bundy tunes at about half the tempo he plays them at and slowly work your way up, or make up your own exercises. There's not really a whole lot of instructional material around for it.
exactly justin king has 10 fingers on his fretboard, bundy will have like maybe 5 using both hands on his at a time, Ross uses all 10, many do it that way. bundy does the hammer ons and pull offs that actually you could loop with his left hand, then does those little bass notes tapping.
i highly doubt that any of these players use all ten fingers, that would be a little to much flesh on the fretboard

ya what do mean, are you a beginner that wants to tap. Or have you been playing a long time and want to tap. If you are a beginner than im sorry man unless thats all you want to do tapping is pretty pointless to try and learn. I would recommend learning normal songs, but if you are a relatively advanced player than go ahead and try to learn some trace bundy or king. Personally i think tapping is a big waste of time and is mostly for show.

Yes, eight would be a more appropriate number.

I'm not sure about the other guitarists technique .. but Justin King only uses two right hand fingers to tap ... he usually plays the melody with these two fingers on the high strings while playing the bass line with his left hand ...

Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking. Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away. Forget about the guilty, we are innocent instead, for soon we shall all find our lives swept away.

1: am i the only one who thinks bundy isn't that great?
2: filmdude claims to be able to play those songs, but doesn't have a tab. this must mean filmdude is a lazy ass who doesn't want to tab it out, unless he is claiming he has the ability to play it
3: begin by learning the technique and make up your own songs. it seems this forum has become a "how to play someone elses song" forum. (granted it is a dave matthews tab website but people need to start playing their own music)
4: begin your tapping experience by applying the technique to some scales (run up and down them)
5: and there are numerous threads on tapping out there these past few weeks, it seems like it's the hot new style now.

ok well the part where filmdude saying he could play, i felt it was implied when he said it wasn't tooooo hard. my bad. and i actually did read the following posts where he is asked if he could play and his reponses i just forgot that.

first bold part... was a question so how the hell can you call that random or not true? bundy was given for beginner tapping songs

and the other bold part, open your eyes up and look through the threads
