A little touchy are we?
Don't come at me all tough-like, malice doesn't suit you well. And for the record I
did say probably and your opinion
is bullshit.

And when did I mention your age? Get a grip.

same, i appreciate the guitar but i dont like listen to it. and i should say i listened to more than 3 of his live shows.
this thread is really pointless. You cant compare two people of different genre.

yeah srv, his songs are the best but just the touch he has when he plays is something else, tim is good but its mostly alternate picking and stuff really fast. vaughn flows better.

i would say tim flows more, and SRV is more erratic, but has more real-life-smokin-just had sex-feel good- music.
tims- and then they were free.. i think is one of the most flowing songs ever
and SRVS- lenny, little wing, riviera paradise are flowing too..

arn't these things solely based on opinion pretty much so no one is right? not to mention srv and TR are two differnt styles imo... it's like comparing metallica to joe pass or wes montgomery... i like TR better but i just dig his stuff more... personally i'm better than them both. TR's stuff is easier to listen to for me and closer to my style so i can relate more than to SRV, now i didn't read all this thread because i rather read a book, but in the end... who really cares? they both make (made) beautiful sounds

i think he was trying to prove that its all a matter of opinion and there is no write or wrong to opinion
though his opinion is obviously completely incorrect
