"Something in the way she moves" is a great song. He has a whole bunch of really great feel good kind of songs.praisedave wrote:hmm, im not familiar with james taylor (ive heard of him but nit any of his stuff) ill look into that, thanks man
Just remember to use a capo unless she has a particularly low voice for a girl. She'll probably be much more comfortable transposed up at least a whole step. Just work with her to find here range and where she's most comfortable with each song.
Congrats man, that's very cool you're taking the initiative to get out there and perform.
thanks mike, it seems to me like shes gonna be up like half a step, either way its gonna be cool. she has a fantastic voice and when we really get down to practicin ill try and post some stuff.MWR wrote:"Something in the way she moves" is a great song. Re: song list...
As I was reading I felt it coming, but then you saved me, thanks. Also, do Best Of What's Around because I like it and you should do it.praisedave wrote:Ive just talked a girl in my school into singing with me when i play guitar and shes pretty good. we wanna start playin open mics and coffeeshops in the area. im tryin to make up a list of like 10 or 12 songs we can learn early.
