in case you havent heard/seen this before....

i was wondering if anyone already had a tab for this song or could tab it out. the video isn't very good because the guitar isn't in the shot for most of the song but if anyone could help me out with this i would really appreciate it.

I don't have a specific tab yet, but for the verse portions he seems to be fingerpicking an open position E and an A barred at the 5th fret

Well here it is better late than never:

Gypsy MC Tab (rich text)

I couldn't get it to line up in a post so you gotta d/l the text file. Maybe someone else can fix that. The video wasn't very helpful either so I had to take some poetic license with the chord voicings. It's pretty close though.

Shit, you wrote down all thr lyrics?! That's gotta suck. Isn't he playing 024100 though? I mean a E works, but I'm almost positve he is.

Oh yeah, and I think the first line is "...to all the g-y-p's." (as in "gypsies)

Why am I pointing out this small stuff? haha.

Copy and paste although it did suck.

And you are right sir. I think he plays a regular E to start out with but then it changes to an add9...fuck. I was so preoccupied with the rest of it I didn't pay attention to the simplest part. Thanks Pat.

Edit: I like a straight E better so I'm not changing it. :wink:
