Most good bassists that aren't wooten are underated.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

he was the only one who didnt sell his soul to the devil.

and i think he can play every instrument ever created. not sure, but i dont think that would be far from the truth.

He's definitely the guy behind the guy. Page ripped off most of his stuff from older unknown blues players and then was whacked out on heroin the rest of the time. During the heroin time someone had to write and arrange songs, hence.....Jonesy. You can tell when Plant became more involved in the production and writing as well.....mostly the later stuff, when it gets all lovey dovey....more organs and lyrically driven songs, less guitar. But, great is great no matter what, when, where or how! And Zep....was great.

"Page ripped off most of his stuff from older unknown blues players and then was whacked out on heroin the rest of the time". I read that it was only in when he was part of the Yardbirds when he did this, and it was only from one blues player..
