Here's my random thought or questions on this Friday Night.

It's easy to name some good electric guitarists - Page, Satriani, etc.

but, I'm having trouble naming good acoustic guitarists.

I know Clapton, Vaughan, Reynolds play the acoustic sometimes. Are they considred the good acoustic guitarists too (cause for sure they're really good at electric guitar)?

well tim is mostly acoustic, he does some electric solo, and when he plays with DMB... but mostly acoustic... clapton is just kick ass on anything, and so is SRV but he didnt do enough acoustic to stand out any from his electric stuff.

Some acoustic guitarists that haven't been mentioned:

Pierre Bensusan, Ed Gerhard, Peter Finger, Laurence Juber, Alex de Grassi, Don Ross, Billy McLaughlin, Peppino D'Agostino, Doyle Dykes, Pete Huttlinger, El McMeen, Andrew York, Paco de Lucia, Preston Reed, Will Ackerman.

I didn't find that hard at all. Leo Kottke is the best.

Thank you.
