Ok shane, I'm playing it right now. At the beginning, hammer-on the 3rd fret on the A string and then go to this D chord- XX023X- and play it twice. Hit the 3rd fret on A againand go into the Bb5 (twice), hold the first strum for little longer than the 2nd. Then play the C5 twice, hit the 3rd fret on A again and go back to the D chord (strum once). I really hope this helps, it does kinda suck.

Sorry about that man. When I was talking about the 5 chords, I was referring to power chords. Power chords are comprised of a root note, the fifth degree of that particular scale and the octave. So the Bbf is X133XX and the C5 is X355XX. I hope I've helped you out there.

I am sorry I didn't have access to a computer for a couple days when moving home at the end of the semester because this is probably the only song I can play better than anyone else here.... lol. I spent about 2 months learning it perfectly and 2 weeks on the solo and played it live with a piano player....... I love this song!
now if only I could play the stone to where it actually sounded like the song....
I have an awesome tab for layla... on my other computer so give me a couple of hours to unpack all my junk.
