I was at a friend's friend's apartment. I was fooling around on the guitar and started to play Stairway. The guy looks at it, and he never saw it the way I played it, and he started, and I never saw anyone play it like he played. So we stopped, and played along with eachother, and wow, what a version. I wish we would have recorded it . . . or at least learned eachohter's name, lmao.

Isn't that always how it goes though? You play a spur of the moment song or indulge in a off the cuff jam session and it's always stellar and nobody ever records it for posterity.

I can play it entirely. Electric solos, 4 guitar parts, flutes/strings, and voice track. I'm still planning on recording it if I ever get a good mic. (suggestions, anyone?) and find some sandpaper (the saddle on my Hohner is way too high and I don't feel like throwing a capo on 1 and tuning down the strings a semitone 'cause I'm a lazy bastard like that). XD
