A pick = ONE pick

The advantage is quite obvious.
You don't use five fingers to strum a chord.[/quote]
You use them to pick more than one string at a time. With fingers, you can pick up to 5 strings. It gives it a cleaner, clearer, and more controlled sound.

Pick is way more clear and sharp if you ask me. Obviously you're going to use your fingers to finger pick shit. But using them on a song with all open chords, in my opinion...is lame

Jayme that box is honestly sweet as hell. With the fire burning and all, its rather impressive I must admit.

There's a chance I'm wrong with this one so someone might wanna check me up. (Er...yeah..check me up) But uh...from what I understand you're not allowed to mass produce picks from turtle shells anymore, or maybe not allowed to produce at all, so the tortex is a synthetic tortoise shell. I can't explain because I'm dead fucking tired, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.
As for the Rhino pick jorbie. Its made out of rhino testicles

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

fingers sound like shit IMO unless it's on bass...bass, it gives it a nice fat tone, and guitar, its almost transparent to me.
So all of these artists sound like shit by your rationale:
Michael Hedges
Phil Keaggy
Tommy Emmanuel
Tim Reynolds
Chet Atkins
Ben Harper
John Fahey
Andres Segovia and every other Classical Player ever.
etc...
