Yep. I emailed Takamine about it today, and I'm waiting on a response. Hopefully they can cover it with the warranty?

Damn man that sucks. I know that most companies don't cover if you get cracks on your finish since that's due to humidity, etc. so I don't know if they'll cover a neck warping.
Good luck

Yeah, Guitar Center said in most cases its not covered. Especially if its a humidity problem. (Which I'm pretty sure it is) I'll just have to shell out the cash to have it fixed.

? It's really not that bad. It plays fine, just the action is a bit high. I'm going to give it to the guys here at my local music store tomorrow.
And 1. I don't trust myself with the truss rod. 2. fixing a problem like this is more than a truss rod adjustment.

That happend to my martin before, a few years ago I had my friend bring my guitar home from school over winter break, he left it in his car and bein in such low temp it bent the shit outta the neck, i put new strings on it but no matter what i did, change the action all that the strings would be kind of a muted sound, i had it under waratny to it got fixed up nice for free

He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
