I need help, seriously...

Ok so, I signed up for jazz band and school but I don't know how to read sheet music for guitars or anything else. I have about 2 weeks to learn to read sheet music. Quick, someone teach me! Please.... Oh yea, and uhh I need to know time sig.s and what not...

Nah I can learn quick, I just need to know basic stuff, he said I could tab it out over the sheet if I needed to.

But heres a couple of sites that might help which you could have found in the Various guitar related sites at the top of the forum but instead your a lazy bastard. I'm just fucking with ya.

umm jazz guitar is easier than bass guitar. they give you chord charts etc.

jazz guitar is some of the hardest stuff there is... that is the advanced stuff anyway. one of my friends whos one of the best guitarists i know says he has trouble with jazz guitar.

When i joined jazz band at my school it was exactly like that. I somewhat could read the music though. and the time sigs was easy to figure out just by playing with the rest of the band

Its usually basic chords (espeacially if you just signed up for it without tryout) and the sheets always have the chords writen over the note.
