100 YEARS TAB ?

Unread post by TOMAMI » Sat Aug 07, 2004 2:38 pm

I found a 100 years by five for fighting tab. I have a question on some of the chords. I was wondering if any one could help? I got most of the chords from tabfinder. My question is. What is the finger formation for a G5/C and D7sus. also he plays a G/B and the tabfinder shows it as a bar chord on the 7th Fret with a C chord formation. I think he plays it as an open chord. I got the tab from http://www.fiveforfighting.com

Thanks

I can't answer your question, but my friend's brother is the lead guitarist for Five for Fighting. Yeah.

Code: Select all

Gmaj(5)/C, D7sus, G/B:

E :3-------3---------|
B :1-------1-------3-|
G :0-------2-------0-|
D :2-------0-------0-|
A :3---------------2-|
E :3-----------------|
G5 played on your first string in G/C is optional and can be left ringing as an E5.

Yep. You're right. My eyes were playing tricks on me and for some reason I thought the 5th and 6th strings were the 4th and 5th strings. Well, that's what happens when you pull one too many all-nighters, I guess. Heh. Thanks for pointing out that it was wrong.

It's fixed now.

This is kinda off topic but I just learned today that their name stands for the fighting penalty in a hockey game. For all of you who don't play hockey you get a five minute penalty for fighting. I kinda thought that was cool.
