hey guys...i just saw a band named Carbon Leaf. I think they are amazing, but I can't seem to find many of their tabs. There is this one song that has this catchy riff in the beginning. It is called Kinakeet Island. Could anyone plez put up a tab for it...I have yet to be able to figure out songs...thanx

Carbon Leaf is a Local Band for me...They are out of Richmond, VA. Ive seen them several times down at the beach. They are extremely talented, especially live. They have an Irish Sound to them. They aren't big enough to be tabbed out yet.

I saw Carbon Leaf for the first time about a week and a half ago when they opened for Jump Little Children in Atlanta. I must say I was really really impressed. I haven't had time to download more of their work to give it a critical listen but I dare say they put on a better show than Jump did that night.

On that note - anyone listen to or know if there is anything up with Jump Little Children? First of all the show I saw in 2002 was much better than the one I witnessed last week. It seemed like there was a total lack of energy and enthusiam that night (3/22). They played a pretty respectable set but it just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Maybe it was more that I got some bad vibes....maybe some friction....between Matt and Evan.

Ah well, probably just my imagination..

I have download some stuff from Jump Little Children, the song that sticks out is "Dancing Virginia". They seemed like they had some talent but never saw them live. I believe they are playing RIchmond sometime soon w/ Carbon Leaf.
