Or maybe just stop retreiving them when they fall in until there's so many in there, there'll be no more room for any more!!!
But seriously, I've been using the same lucky red pick for 4 years now!!!! I've thought that i lost it so many times but it always comes back to me. I've pulled it out of the back of the dryer, found it in the bottom of a recycling tub about to be put on the curb, and chased down and tackled my dog when she tried to eat it.
It was a Dunlop Tortex at one point, but all the texture has worn off it and it is totally smooth. Its molded to my thumb and index so perfectly that I can feel if I'm holding it backwards. So since I always hold it the same way, one side is being worn down way more than the other which has give the pick a rather unique shape.

I jus take a a pen or marker or watever then fold a piece of tape so both sides are sticky place it on the pen and then shake the guitar until you find the pick then slowly pick it up with the taped pen...Alot of directions. Sorry

What I realy hate is when the pick gets stuck behind the pickup/preamp on my takamine.

jesus you people suck at this
Take a piece of scotch-tape, make it into a circle (not a ball...) so its sticky all around, put it on one end of a pen or something, then reach in the guitar with it and get the pick with the tape. As long as the pick near the sound holw its easy...shake it around if it isnt there. Takes me like 10 seconds...but then again I usually have tape somewhere in my room.

Exactly, you tape and pencil people, while mcgyverish, are making this way to hard, just get it so you can see it and flip it over, no fabricating of contraptions is necessary!!!!!!!!!!andyrice_13 wrote:Don't shake it.
just slowly tilt it until you get the pick right below the soundhole, Than you flip it upside down real fast.

Ahh plght! The flip technique does not always work the first try and there is too much of a chance of something bad happening to the guitar. No, seriously, bad sh*t always happens to me when my guitar is out of the case.jsgksu wrote:Exactly, you tape and pencil people, while mcgyverish, are making this way to hard, just get it so you can see it and flip it over, no fabricating of contraptions is necessary!!!!!!!!!!andyrice_13 wrote:Don't shake it.
