Help with giving guitar lessons (PLEASE)

Well, you'd actually be surprised. She wants to learn blues guitar, which I renounce as repetitive, but at the same time, believe is necessary for good lead technique. So the whole Britney Spears thing is not a problem, thankfully. As for the slightly disturbing replies of john (lol, good luck), that is ridiculous. For those of you that didn't notice her age, she's my girlfriend's younger sister.
Anyways, I thought I would teach some basic blues rhythms and try to get to pentatonic as soon as she has mastered basic playing. Any other ideas for teaching blues playing are welcome...

the next thing we learned was the 12 bar blues chords w/ a million different types of strum patterns.

We used this as we used the pentatonic scale to improvise on. It sound cool at the time b/c you could actually make music.
