What keyboard effect is on John Mayer's I Don't Trust Myself

At the beginning of the song, what keyboard effect is used on I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You)? It sounds like a pretty standard effect, yet still one I am not familiar with. Thanks.

Are you talking about the weird almost wah sounding effect? That's actually guitar, I believe. Still don't know how he gets it to sound like that though.

I mean the first instrument you hear in the song. Yeah that effect of his on the guitar is really weird, but that's not specifically what I'm talking about. Actually I'd like to know what that is too. The guitar and keyboard sound so similar I almost think that he just ran his keyboard through the same pedal he used for his guitar in order to get that same sound on keyboard.

You can get the same effect by turning your gain up a bit and using the volume knob on your guitar in conjunction with picking a string. Its tricky but I got it to sound almost exactly like it last night.

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.
