May I ask a HUGE favor?...

There is a local band that i am really getting into and their "big" song looks like it would be a blast to play but i am no good at picking up that style of playing by ear...and since they're a small local band (for now) there are no tabs available! If supplied with the song could someone here tab it out?? i know it's asking alot, but you'd learn a new song and get exposure to a new band

their website is http://www.wintersleep.com and the song i wanna learn is called "orca" and they have an audio file on the sites main page...anyone up to the challenge i commend you!

i just noticed something that sould make this MUCH easier for whoever wants to try...they now have a music video of the song (also on their site)...you can see his hands through most of the vid too!!

if there is a video of it, can't you tab it out.
if someone did it for you by ear, i could see your point
but if there is a video, then the person would just mimic the artists hand postions. can't you do that.
not trying to be an ass, just saying that if you have a video then it shouldn't be too hard

I just watched the video here at work...
You really ought to give that a try by yourself, he shows you everything you need to see so it shouldnt be hard. Just throw your hands on there around the 8th or 9th fret (couldnt see) and just start looking for the notes. Even if you suck this ones completely within your range :wink:
