I've been using this site for a long time now, but never signed up for the boards. Finally I got some inspiration, anyway -- the new layout and design of the site is AWESOME! Keep up the great work guys! :D

Great site- it was great before but somehow you guys found a way to make it even better! All of the tabs on this site are awesome- I'm playing DMB's music now and I never thought I would be able to! Thankfully there's someone out there who is willing to put forth the time and effort to tab all this out. Thanks again, and I look forward to more great tabs and new videos.

Mr. JKANTER,
Whomever you may be, I truly appreciate your site. It has given me more depth and inspiration to my music, since I am a DMB fan (read fanatic). I hope that all goes well with your endeavor, and that all things come true for those who see the effort and vigilance of the leaders within this site. I cannot more press the curtain that there is none other equal to this venue.
Dave sees life in a different perspective than most, he is a dreamer, a liver (not organ), and a teacher to those who will listen. His music is a melody to the soul, a gift for the senses , and a lesson that life is once, no more. Live it as you would always want it to be told.
I thank you very much for bringing his music so close to me, and to give the reflection of a language of peace.
Grace be unto you and those who surround you Mr. JKanter.

I agree, and I couldnt have siad it better than 40 did.

On a lighter note, I guess we can tell the redesigned layout is very effective! :D

first of all, wonderful job, all the tabs i have found have been the most accurate on the net. (still waiting for stream though), as a suggestion, it would be even more sweet, if you guys put the variations and jams from the live cds, such as bootlegs or chicago etc.. i am workin on learning every song dave does, i love em all, currently im tryin to put some of butch taylors piano solos to the guitar..i think two steps piano solo tim style would be just amazing :? i love it that you even have songs such as me and julio

for anyone reading this that lives in the northern to middle part of new york, im looking to do a dave tim thing, email me at stitchmelon@yahoo.com

ok, i just posted on here, i wrote before i read #40always comments on dave matthews band. man, I hear ya!!! I just figure, while were saying our thoughts on the band, i might as well put in my opinion. i'm 18 i have been playin guitar bass and acoustic since i was 8 years old. This comment may be overdoing it to some people, allot of people probly, but, I think dave matthews band is the best band of all time, better then the beatles, clapton, led zeppelin, jimi hendrix. dont get me wrong, all fantastic bands that have defined a major turning point in history, and some of the greatest music ever. but i listin to these bands and i find maybe 2 or 3 songs i will skip past on the album or cd, but when it comes to dave, i will listin to every song and think, damn!! i wish i could have writtin a song as great as that. there is not 1 dave matthews band song that I do not love...not one. every song is beutiful, and has a jam to it that just goes through me and gives me the chills. i think, how can someone be so brilliant when it comes to music, lyrically and instrumentally, and the only thing that I can come up with is...................It's just dave. plain and simple he is at a musical level that i can only dream of beeing at some day, his lyrics are gorgeous in every way. I cant think of one band besides dave that i love every single song, musicians dont come around like that too often, and then we have this new charicter in the scenes, this john mayer, who obviously has had a huge influence on his musical carrer, but....I dont like him because of the fact that he doesnt even come close to beeing as great as dave, but a part of me likes him for the fact that when i hear him i think, hey..hes a fellow dave fan. so i am constantly in this state of confussion thinkin, ok this guy(mayer) has obviosly decided that he wants to bring more of daves sound to the media, which is awesome, but its never gonna happen that you find someone as good at daves unique sound as dave himself, but yet im pissed because at the grammy awards(i think its grammys, there is so many damn awards), anyways, so at the grammy awards, john mayer one quite a few awards, but i didnt see dave get 1, and i feel john is capatilizing on his sound, and it pisses me off more then i care to express. i mean seriously, some ppl argue this fact, but if you look at johns style, the attempted growl and rasp and twang in the voice, the way he tries to move his feet( god love the dave dance). and just the rythmic pattern of mayers in comparison to daves sound, hes a damn rip off. so i can either like it because it brings more of the vibe of daves music to find in a cd store, or i can hate it because, its not dave. i have "so much to say" about the music, and how each song has shaped who i have become, but it dont wanna use up to much of this space, but to sum everything up, dave is brilliant in every way shape and form that music comes, he speaks about issues that touch everyones home, and to the people who say dave has sold out, or have stopped liking him because he has been on MTV, well ya know what, dave deserves all the fame.
