Jared is the man, but was he the one that started it? I read somewhere that he got it from the orginal creator of the site, I could be mistaken, I know I read it somewhere. But, no doubt Jared is the Ruler of the Boards ;-)

There was a site a time ago called http://www.dmbtabs.com that was totally different and if I remember correctly, had some audio clips of songs on the site. Jared wasn't the creator of that site. This original sites owner/creator hadn't updated many songs in awhile so Jared asked if he could take over and totally change it. Thats from what I heard a few years back so I dunno if its true. But I'm sure Jared will come here and clear everything up.

yeah it was totally different before Jared changed the layout a year or so ago. I'm talking before Jared had this site and he had one threw his school if I recall. http://www.wam.umd.edu/~jkanter/
That was the site Jared had at his school I'm guessing. Then he took over dmbtabs.com and totally changed everything and put vids up, etc.

IIRC, Jared had a site with DMB tabs on his university webspace long, long ago. It was very popular; dmbtabs.com was another site, but the creator of that site transferred the domain over to Jared. That's what I remember, but I may be fairly off since it was so long ago.

Dave has never played it live (he tried to play it once during a soundcheck but was unable to sing it and play it well at the same time), so there is no way for us to see how Dave actually plays it.

Hey Brock, thanks for the second link I completely fogot what this place used to look like.

KANTER - it seems from watching the dave and trey VH1 Special/SDL video that he plays the hammer ons twice as often as you have tabbed, not a big deal, just thought Id throw it out there
