Broken Things tab - AFTW

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Looks different from the tab.

I worked this out and verified the voicing positions once I saw the video. This should be pretty much dead on.

I might be absolutely mad, but I don't think the intro is right--and I keep going back and forth. I think you get something closer to this after watching/listening to that Dave and Tim video...

Code: Select all

    Broken Things
    Dave Matthews Band

    Intro:

    e|-----------------
    B|-------------0---
    G|-------------0---
    D|------5--7---7---
    A|---/7--7-----5---
    E|-----------------
I hear a lot of open strings! Dave incorporates those a lot so he can strum like a madman and still hit notes. It's still not exactly right though. There's something about his strumming pattern on the intro, but I can't quite peg it down...
