I have a video or audio of me playing and I need some fine tuning. I am just starting out and want to learn Stay first. I have the tab just need help with the timing. Anybody know how I can post an audio or video clip?
Peace
JB
I need some help with Stay, any takers
You can have someone here post it for you or you can try the ever popular and always dispised http://www.angelfire.com
Hope that helps.
I can't help but wonder why your starting on Stay. It's considered one of the harder Dave songs to learn. But if your hearts set on it more power to ya.

I love the rhythm to it
I really want to learn all Dave songs, and I guess I feel if I can tackle a hard one it will make others easier. Plus, the guitar portion of Stay is just awesome.

Ok, from not hearing anything, I'm going to take a stab at it totally in the dark... something tells me that you're having trouble with the timing on the opening and verse riff. And if that's the case I know on the, xx810xx, xx88xx, xx57xx, xx58xx, xx67xx, xx68xx, the xx57xx, and xx58xx, and so on, those are usually hit on an up stroke. Cause he strums this song like crazy, and he times it to where he is hit the last four chords on an upstroke. That my hypothesis on the situation, if not oh well, maybe I helped someone else out on it
So that's what I am getting from this, if someone else is thinking of something else let me know so I don't steer him in the wrong direction with this.
