Beginnning of Cry Freedom

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Beginnning of Cry Freedom

Unread post by theoldcrow37 » Sun Jan 05, 2003 6:06 pm

Does anyone know the fist chord played in cry freedom after the intro on the L@LC version? Its a deep sounding chord played right after the e chord in the intro. Thanks!

all i hear is the e-chord, and then the a-chord from the verse.

im pretty sure its A a long A then he messes with the 4, 2 on the low E then he hits the E hard before the verse.

the guy is asking what chord Dave repeatedly plays during the first verse of the L@LC version of Cry Freedom.

he plays an A power chord (5-7-x-x-x-x) in 3/4 time. if you listen to it, it goes:

(emphasize the first da of each group of 3 da's)
da da da - da da da, 1 2 , da da da - da da da

god I hope this makes sense

peace
