Light lift me up

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I think its something like this

Code: Select all

e|---------|---------|---------|-------|
b|---3---3-|---3---3-|---3---3-|-----3-|
g|---0---0-|---0---0-|---0---0-|-----0-|
d|---------|---------|---------|-------| repeat until end
a|-2---3---|---------|-2---3---|-------|
E|---------|-1---3---|---------|-1-3---|

there are actualy 2 soundceck performances out there. Both are sdifferent. I have the two. I tabbed them out a while ago. Here's wha tI have:

Code: Select all

--------------------------------------
Light Lift Me Up (1st Version) - DMB
--------------------------------------

Main Riff
(he fiddles around with notes, but eventualy plays this, and he strums
it a bit in parts)
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B------3------3----------1-p0------3-----------------------------------
G------------------------0---------0-----------------------------------
D----2------2---------2---------2--------------------------------------
A--2------3------------------------------------------------------------
E------------------1---------3-----------------------------------------

Code: Select all

--------------------------------------
Light Lift Me Up (2nd Version) - DMB
--------------------------------------
He fiddles with these few versions. He picks at points, strums at
others.

e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------------------------------------
A--2----3--------------------------------------------------------------
E------------1----3----------------------------------------------------

e---------------- -------------------- --------------------------------
B------3------3-- -------3---------3-- --------*3----------------------
G---------------- -------0---------0-- --------*0----------------------
D----2------2---- ----2---------2----- --------*2----------------------
A--2------3------ -------------------- --------------------------------
E---------------- -1---------3-------- -1----3-------------------------
*sometimes he doesn't play the rest of the chord here and just ends it
with the bass note.

e---------------------------------------- -----------------------------
B------3------3---3---------3---------3-- --------*3-------------------
G---------------0-----------0---------0-- --------*0-------------------
D----2------2------------2---------2----- --------*2-------------------
A--2------3------------------------------ -----------------------------
E---------------------1---------3-------- -1----3----------------------
*same as before

if you need help with rythm, ask and I will put it up.[/code]
Yes, I am in a box
