Is this song originally from the band Soul Coughing or did dave write it?

Yeah i guess so and i don't know why. maybe it's the easy chord progression with the fun lyrics.

Anyway, I need to say that App pointed my in the right direction and that the song was probably written by dave, the song i was thinking about was "is chicago not chicago".
