Do you really think the producer sucks on this album?

Dave wanted a new direction. I think the production on this album is amazing. Simple yet layered.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": The food court is downstairs. The cookie stand is upstairs. It's not like we're talking quantum physics here.

the song itself is good, but that damn reverb just ruins any chance of me liking a studio version

The annoying thing about Some Devil's production is how it could be good. They were on the right track but I think overall there were a lot of decisions that hurt that album. The best example is the click-track on Stay or Leave. Thats what the metronome sounds like on my shitty recorder. Yet I love that Dave uses his voice to create the beat.
Oh and thanks FJ, I love South Park.

What is that thingie in the background of stay or leave anyway, I thought it was somebody doing muted strums and then looping them through a delay pedal or something
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
