Lover Laydown Help

Unread post by THUMPINGOOD » Wed Oct 09, 2002 4:21 pm

Hey Guys,
I need help with Lover Laydown I have most of the song but the corus part. I cannot figure out the rythm and the exact cords every tab I have looked at even the one on this site does not sound right or seem right, I think it is me but what am I missing. The corus goes A D/A E/G# G Bm7 then back to A then repeat. I would appreciate if someone could give me some tips on the rythm and cords.
THANKS, THUMPINGOOD

Lover Lay Down;

VERSE:
e-------------------------------------------------------------------------
B-------------------------------------------------------------------------
G------2--> -4--------4---------6-----7--------7--------6-------------
D------0---------------5---------7--------------7--------7--------------
A------x---------------x---------x--------------x--------x--------------
E--2----------------3---------5--------------7--------5-----------------

CHORUS:
e-------------x-------------3----------2-----------------------------------
B---2---------x------------3-----------3----------------------------------
G---2---------4------------0-----------4----------------------------------
D---2---------2------------0-----------4----------------------------------
A--------------x-----------x-----------2-----------------------------------
E--------------4-----------3-----------x-----------------------------------

The rhythm of the chorus is simple, and with enough practice, the verses are easy if you have a steady ear to hear the timing between the figuring.

Hope this helps you out!
