"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

Um, guys? Remember me posting about how everyone of those tabs on the net are dead wrong? Remember I spent a week trying to tab it out with a friend correctly? Remember I posted the tab, twice?!

lol

Anyways, here is a tab me and a friend else did together. It took a wihle, but this is so fucking close to exactly how he plays the song. Maybe 99% (can't confirm 100% since there are no videos).

Anyways, here is an actual ACURATE tab of one of my favorite dm songs of all time.

Code: Select all

D---x----x-----x----x----x---------------------------------------------
A---x----x-----x----x----x---------------------------------------------
E--10----9----12----7----6---------------------------------------------

D--------------0---2---------------0---2----x-----0--2--0--0--0--0--0--
A--------------x-------------------x--------2--0--x-----x--x--x--x--x--
E--9--10--*5---3-------9--10--*5---3--------------3-----5--7--2--3--3--
* = sometimes he slides down

E-----------------9--10--@12--*5----3--------9--10--*5----3------------
* = Sometimes he slides down
@ = Somtimes he plays this note, sometimes he doesn't, and he might
play it on the A string, seventh fret

^ = This part varies, here's another way Dave plays it, and sometimes
he doesn't do the slides
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------------------------
