Nancies: verse

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Nancies: verse

Unread post by mattm » Thu Oct 23, 2003 7:31 pm

dancing nancies verse ... just after dave does the little b,e strum (or g,b,e) what exactly does he hit before going continuing to the next chord?

2x44xx...then b,e strum/hammer...[ ? ]...32x4xx

i'm doing the b,e strum like: dudud, quick hammer 2fret (so the hammer replaces the last upstroke). my strum sounds fine, but what's the little 'fill' that comes right after the hammer (that keeps it on rhythm)?

other than that, i have the rhythm going right.

anyone know the answer?
god knows it weighs on me...as heavy as stone and a bone-chilling cold
