I'll be playing and singing, but get this, This girl I've been teaching guitar is a singer. Has been forever. So she's gonna sing along with me. We've practiced a bunch and it's gonna sound sooooo cool. :) I can't wait.

well, I'd have tosay yes :)

and the funny thing is she's more nervous than I am. it's her first open mic. not her first performance by any means though. she's more nervous about sounding good for herself rather than the crowd. which will not be a problem for her or the crowd. :) and she's def gonna make me sound better :) Just hope my left hand doesn't cause any train wrecks. ;)

yo, we f*cking nailed it :) it went better than I could hope for. no major slip ups either. which really helps :) amazing what a little practice can do for you. :) and the crowd response was great. gotta love a good open mic night. I was just somewhere else once we started playing. not worried about the crowd at all and just let my voice out. good times. And we sounded good together. so she made me sound better :)
