End part of Storytellers Crush...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

End part of Storytellers Crush...

Unread post by barcode » Mon Oct 13, 2003 5:59 pm

Can someone point me in the direction of a tab that shows tims part when they are doing the liitle jam to finish off the song...not the long crazy solo with all the bends but once dave and tim get back in sync...i wanna learn both guitar parts after that...thanks in advance for any help!

Anthony

EDIT: Are they playing in standard or drop D tuning (i can play the song in both but i thought dave always used drop D, but my buddy swears it's played in standard on storytellers)

I don't have a video of storytellers. If you can get me an avi or mpeg of just that part of the end, I can try.

that was a good link but didn't have the storytellers ending...it had the long (hard) solo that tim plays but not his complementary playing as they finish out the song...

I'm just looking for the part after they do the final muted strums (they both do a hammer-on E and then mute the strings and strum a couple times, then they go back to the Bm with a hammer-on on the A string and tim plays this higher accompanyment at about mid-neck on the guitar, then they do the hammer on E's again and then Tim does a climb on the low E string from the second fret to the fifth and then they both end on a Bm)...i'm only looking for the higher accompanyment...i know somone can figure this out!

tell me what you think of that...I could possibly re-learn it and tab out the ending...

no problem man...I appreciate you listening...that recording is from long ago...sadly, my Chet is now up on ebay :(

I know it isn't accurate, but I would say I took about 65% or more from storytellers...but meh....

thanks for listening anyway :)
