Help with old 'Say Goodbye'
First, the copy I'm listening to has been labeled as a demo, but I'm not quite sure. The 'Say Goodbye' has some Dave speak at the beginning about the song not having a title or words, but he'll play it anyway. Anyway, did he really come up with the lyrics to this on the spot? And, when he's coming from the D back to the A, it sounds like he works down from 10 to 5 with the movable major chord with 3 or 4 different bass notes. Anyone know what I'm talking about...can you help me out with those questions?

Okay, but the first few throughs of the chords, coming back to the A, I can hear him working down the neck to the A from the D...any idea what he's hitting specifically? I think it's B-A#-A, but I'm not sure.
