It don't seem right...

Some Devil is a dave matthews solo project, right. Is it right to put it on the DMBTabs page. By that we should have all the Boyd Tinsley's true reflections tabs up, but there is no section for that album. It just doesn't seem fair and like we are striving to have all DMB tabs and not just dave matthews tabs. i mean he played on true reflections a little right. and there were guitars on there. Just playing the devil's advocate and thinking out loud here...

using the utilitarianism theory we would put up dave matthews tabs and not bloyd do to the fact that more people would want to play dave songs over bloyds here.

using the kant theory we would put up both because that is the "right" thing to do. we can't help one and not the other.

sorry just practicing ethics. i will really look dumb if i just said them wrong to heh

yeah i could care less about the boyd tabs at the moment. i was just thinking about how it really isn't fair. and i suppose all tabs are made by jkanter watching videos of dave, but then the site name is a bit misleading. maybe true reflections should be there in the menu too but just without any of the tabs (unless someone has or wants to tab them out). kinda like for songs that there are no videos to tab from. that would be more fair and show the full collection of what the band has done.

i agree. just for the sake of respect, and actually, true reflections is tabbed, so there could be one at least.

i think the name of the site fits just fine. dmBtabs works for me. i mean there are really only 2 instruments in the band that you can tab out, bass and guitar, the others use sheet music (well im not sure about drums). and kanter has both on this site. and also i dont see a problem in putting up the some devil tabs. there are cover tabs right? those arent dmb songs either.

yeah but it's a cover by the whole band. i am just drawing a paralell that dave matthews SOLO album and boyd tinsley SOLO album should either both get a spot on the little album menu or neither get a spot but it hardly seems right that True Reflections album wouldn't be considered DMB but then Some Devil is.

I want the some devil tabs but part of me feels like we are doing an injustice by not even acknowledging TR. i mean Everyday got on there. haha

well, the point i was tryin to make was that this is a tabs page, yes it is a dmB tabs page, but the main idea of the page is the tabs. the only instruments in the band you can tab out are the guitar and bass, which are on this page. you cant tab out violin parts (unless im mistaken). so everything that you can tab out for dmB is here. and if you could tab out TR and people actually wanted it then it would probably be on here too. so i dont see any injustice to having some devil tabs but not TR tabs.
