Unread post by EdTownshend » Mon Sep 22, 2003 11:06 pm

Hey...I've been playing "Stay or Leave" in standard tuning but using the tuned up tab...sounds ok....how do I tune the guitar up to the proper tuning though...that's something I'm very virgin to...is there a way with a tuner...just by ear...I don't know...I just don't know...ok...I'm ok now...thank you kindly.

According to the Busted Stuff tab book, Dave uses the following gauges:

.039, .029, .018, .014, .010, .016

No telling how accurate this is, but I didn't have any trouble when I used these gauges (I think I couldn't find a 29 so I used a 30 instead, no big deal)
