Dave LIOG solo jam?

ive been working on liog for quite some time, and i feel pretty confident playing it, but ive been trying to work on the long jam. i can play it fine, but i know it can bring out so much more. are there recordings from any of dave's solo shows where he plays out that jam? ive heard him play it a few times, but he's skipped over it. also, if anyone wouldnt mind posting a recording of themsevles, prefferably single-tracked just to give me some ideas what i can throw into it while playing, thanks so much.

When just talking about solo jamming, I would play the main chords of the jam at different speeds, and maybe add different strumming patterns. You can also use the full chords of those in the jam:

Jam Part 1:

D, C#m, Bm, G, A

Jam Part 2:

Em, Bm, A, D/F#, G

Here's a recording...nothing special...I did that full chord thing (mostly barre chords) and you can hear that. Other than that, solo you pretty much have to stick with the same type of pattern. Try those chords, and different variations of those chords, and it will sound cool...

Yeah.. along with the playing the jam different speeds and strumming, just stat doign what Dave does sometimes and ramble.. ya know.. just start sinigng whatever and if it works it works and if it doesnt youll know it.. its always fun to do, i wrote a song from doing that during #41.

I figured out something like this, it doesn't sound too bad when you're playing it by yourself, adds a little more variation to it.

just follow the pattern for the middle part of the jam. You can fool around with the extra note alot, by hammering on to it repeatedly, leaving it there while you change chords or using it in the middle of the chord as I did with the tab. Just mess around with it and you can make it sound pretty cool.

Droning the d-string makes it way fuller, it's just personal choice. Hopefully the tab comes out alright, I've never tried this before
