PIG HELP
hey, does anybody know how to play the "come sister, my brother" part?
I am having some difficulty getting the rhythm down because I can't hear daves guitar in any of the versions....
also, is the tab correct? does it really go from G to A to Bminor to B, then from G to A to B to Bminor? or should it all just be one way?
help a brotha out?
if anyone could do a clip of it or explain, I'd preciate it...late

Re: PIG HELP
This part of this song has been a mystery for me ever since I started learning Dave's songs. I also can't see the tab being right for this part, especially the way the power chords are arranged. If you ever figure it out, PLEASE let me know...DmbFanJason wrote:hey, does anybody know how to play the "come sister, my brother" part?

Re: PIG HELP
That tab is 100% corrent, there is not doubt about that. As for how to play it....it's hard. The tempo is so wierd and has such a strange strumming pattern.....it just can't be explained online. A clip would do best, which I MAY be able to post later today. What you have to do is listen for the bass note changes inside all that stuff that's going on. It's not easy, but if you listen...you can fully hear it. I'll see if I can get that clip up but for the most part....it's ridiculously hard. I would second the notion of needing to hear a clip. I trust that your tab is correct, but like you said, hard to understand by just the tab.jkanter wrote:That tab is 100% corrent, there is not doubt about that. As for how to play it....it's hard. I always pick the individual notes of the verse chords. it is real mellow, dave played it at farmaid 2001 solo, its alright.1eyed_jack wrote:To anyone who can play it, is this song weak acoustic, or does it sound alright?

I never thought this part sounded too great on acoustic. THat might be why Dave never plays it with Tim, but here's my best shot at it.
