Dave and his signature model

I have been to quite a few shows since Daves sig model came out. Sometimes he plays it for a song or two maybe, other times he doesn't play it at all. You would think that he would play it more to promote the model or he just doesn't care and sticks with his '96? I don't know, just curious why he doesn't play it more.
