What guitar is this?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

What guitar is this?

Dave was playing what looked like a short scale 12 string on Squirm last night, red body with a sound hole above the strings near where the body and neck connect. I couldn't read what the headstock said from where I was sitting even with the cameras on him it was hard to tell.
DMB shows attended: 4/12/05 - Molson Amphitheater, 9/12/06 @ Air Canada Centre.

it was his veillette guitar that he uses for Squirm, Idea Of You, Shotgun, Falling Off the Roof,etc. any other songs i'm forgetting? nice sounding little guitar

Thanks, never heard of that guitar before and didn't know he had one.

Ya the Gryphon is a sweet guitar.

He also uses it on: Idea of You, Shotgun, Falling Off the Roof.

I'm pretty sure on the studio version of Time Bomb is starts off with the Gryphon as well.
