One War tab (from before DMB)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

One War tab (from before DMB)

Unread post by focus2aus » Thu May 14, 2009 7:55 pm

This is the tablature for a song called “One War” that Dave Matthews wrote with Mark Roebuck in about 1989. This is my first ever tab so feel free to criticize my formatting.

The best thing to do is to listen to the song over and over so you learn the strum pattern, although it’ll never sound as full as the recording because there are two guitar parts playing. This tab is as close as I could get.

I’ve been listening to it here: http://www.myspace.com/tribeofheaven
PS does anyone have any copy of the full CD or at least an mp3 of One War? I’ve only listened to it on this site and have no idea how to get the file off whatever player it uses. Does anyone know how to rip the track from the site or have a copy of their own to share? It would be much appreciated.

Enjoy
