Re: Anyone know?
ya i found the Epiphone PRE-5 which looks like the Epiphone model of it. Judging by the headstock and the stars on he neck like the Chet Atkins SST, im gonna say its a Gibson, but i cant find it anywhere.
Its also not on here: http://www.geocities.com/dmbguitars/

Re:
It can no way be a Chet Atkins SST. Chet Atkins are solid bodies, this is obviously a deep hollow bodied. Also the Chet has a dreadnought shaped body, this is a jumbo. It is a discontinued Gibson model (I could not for the life of me find the model number), but the Epiphone PR5-E is the exact same guitar. It also does not have stars on it, it has a split diamond inlay. Most likely this is not Dave's guitar but loaned or borrowed for the performance like the Gibson Byrdland or the Taylor T5.Byrdman wrote:I believe it is a Gibson Chet Atkins SST in Black. Probably around low to mid 90's. I know they have a solid body that has the same star inlays on the fretboard.
