New Picks

Unread post by sabes35 » Sat Jun 28, 2003 3:54 pm

I was 3 rows back at Pittsburgh last night and Dave's picks weren't orange. If anything they looked blue, I was close enough to be sure. I wonder if its just a different color, or if he changed thinkness? Any ideas?

Hey, I was at the concert in Pittsburgh (on Friday, not Thurs) as well. I wasn't close enough to see the color of his picks, but I did see Dave drop his pick during Ants. He dropped it, played it off and kept singing... and quickly grabbed one of the mic stand. I'm sure most of the crowd didn't notice, but since I tend to watch his playing closely, I saw it.

I think there was a thread on these boards a few weeks back about Dave dropping his pick. It probably happens infrequently, but I can confirm now that it happens to the even the best of players.

sarcasm doesn't communicate over the web. over at the rhombus they have a sarcasm scale. (0) is none and (10) is very sarcastic.

so your quote would have looked like this.
wow... (8)
i know exactly what your thinking..."wow..."

well no it is quite amazing if you think about it. maybe he painted his picks using a magical wonderful fairy paint or maybe aliens came and forced him to play with purple picks or else they would turn him into justin timberlake.
