Did Monkey Man evolve into...

Did Monkey Man evolve into...

So Right?

I was playing Monkey Man the other day and the verse part reminded me very much of how Dave plays So Right. I know that the song itself did not evolve into So Right, but i was just wondering if anyone else thinks that Dave got the guitar part for So Right from Monkey Man.

I can somewhat see where you're coming from, but I'm almost certain it didn't evolve that way
