Too Much

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Too Much

Unread post by two steps too many » Wed Sep 10, 2008 2:31 am

Did a search and found 0 results for too much.....how can there be no discussion on it? not even 1??? wow

Anyways, these two parts don't sound right to me

9 8/9
9 8/9
9 8/9
8 7/8
9 8/9

Can someone maybe shed some more light on this? The video also apears to be down, audio only.

Thanks

Yeah they are the fills.

Its right, the x98999 is an F(9) chord... the nine is in parenthesis because im an idiot. But just hit the x87888 real quick its a 7 chord and resolves into the one. playing a 7 like that over the 1 chord would sound odd if you dont resolve it quickly... think James Brown

EDIT: i might not now exactly what im talking about theory wise, but I know what im thinking is right so .... dont sit on that x87888 chord or itll sound like shit
