Lost, need help w/ american baby tabs

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

so yea, i'm also trying to follow the abbey road episode with dave, that is whatever guitar shots i could follow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymCjxVwkoE4

it looks like the guy on the first youtube is playing the same tabs as dave.

i get the main part of xx4x23 to xx7x57 to xx6x45 and back again, but how does the 'hold on' part go?

thanks

most of this was borrowed from Adam Henleys tab in the Stand Up Album Tabs thread... the first measure of each part is as he wrote it and the 4 in the second measure stays as well... instead of playing the 2h3 2 notes dave uses the chords shown

Code: Select all

original
e-----------------|-----------------|
b-----------------|---2h3-2---------|
g-------2-4---4---|-----------------|
d---0-4-----2-----|-4--------------|
a---------------2-|-----------------|
E-----------------|-----------------|

  * + * + * + * +   * + * + * + * +

e-----------------|-----------------|
b-----------------|---2h3-2-3/5-----|
g-------2-4---4---|-----------------|
d---0-4-----2-----|-4---------------|
a---------------2-|-----------------|
E-----------------|-----------------|

Code: Select all

dave solo
e-----------------|-----------------|
b-----------------|-----------------|
g-------2-4---4---|---6-7-6---------|
d---0-4-----2-----|-4-x-x-x---------|
a---------------2-|---4-5-4---------|
E-----------------|---5-7-5---------|

  * + * + * + * +   * + * + * + * +

d---0-4-----2-----|-4-x-x-x-x/x-----|
