So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I was listening to The Gorge yesterday and before Jimi Thing, Dave messes around with a couple of chords and the band picks up on it for a second. The chords are..
Code: Select all
E--0-----0-----
B--2-----3-----
G--2-----0---4-
D--2-----4---x-
A--0---3/5---2-
E------------3-
These are basically the same chord shapes played in Oh (the G is a little different), just played in standard tuning rather than raised baritone. Do you think Dave used the chords from this little improv for Oh, or did he just happen to use the same chords?

- Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": Dr. Peter Venkman: I make it a rule never to get involved with possessed people. Actually it's more of a guideline than a rule.
