And by what they mean by that is, what in real chord terms are they? and WHAT KIND OF CHORDS ARE THEY? (Jazz, Classic, or just chords that Dave made?) Like

Those Dave chords you have listed are the root and the 3rd of a chord (they are technically not chords - a chord consists of 3 or more notes). That's what gives most songs that recognizable "DMB" quality. They are pretty basic chords, like I said before, basically just a major/minor chord but without the 5, or any of the extensions. That description only applies for the chords you listed, though. Dave uses other chords that can be found in other songs like the opening chords in #41 and Pantala Naga Pampa. Those are actually just minor or major chords, but just different voicings than most are used to - that also plays a part in obtaining that characteristic Dave sound.
